Welcome to Kimbilio’s Year End Fundraiser!

Kimbilio’s goal for our year end fundraiser is simple: Each July we hold our annual retreat at SMU’s beautiful Fort Burgwin campus, which is located in the Carson National Forest near Taos, New Mexico.  The peace of the forest and the breathtaking natural beauty of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains are central to our retreat experience, and while getting here is part of the fun, it’s also expensive.

As part of Kimbilio’s goal of making the retreat accessible to as many writers as possible, we offset the cost of travel by paying for ground transportation from the New Mexico airports to the SMU campus.

With the return of our retreat, Kimbilio has had an amazing 2022.  Celebrate with us by helping us raise $3000 for vans to the 2023 retreat.  All additional gifts will be used to provide scholarships for writers who need financial support to be able to attend the retreat
